Has Pandora changed my musical tastes?

A very emphatic yes! In fact, I should mention that one of the bands recommended by Pandora's twitter account, Beats Antique, helped me find a lot more such bands
through Pandora than I could have just using Ravi Shankar and his
similar artists to populate stations. Pandora has helped me expand my
tastes from a simple hard rock background to a encompass broader areas,
including the roots or rock such as blues, country (some, not all ;)).
I've also gotten into newer acts such as the variety of punk nowadays
like Flogging Molly's irish punk, Gogol Bordello's gypsy punk,
Streetlight Manifesto's energetic ska. I can't really remember how I
got to Streetlight Manifesto...but it's now my favorite ska band, up
there with Mano Negra. I should mention my native language is Spanish,
though I also learned English growing up, and I know some French and
Italian too, so I take advantage of that by listening to popular
artists from France, Italy, etc. I always start by looking up mostly
old artists such as Nada from Italy, and mixing them with slightly
newer artists, such as Eros Ramazotti.
